with the dates released for good things festival 2025 , here is my personal top 15 wish list, in no particular order.

  1. bloodywood (India)

hailing from new Delhi, India, bloodywood performs a unique form of folk metal with a seamless blend of languages and traditional and modern instruments, that have them on the top of my wish list.

  1. to the grave (Australia)

following to the graves rousing success of their recent support tour of lorna shore, and their upcoming support of I killed the prom queen in October, i'm sure there will be many fans, like myself, eager to see the Sydney local deathcore band on a larger stage and getting the exposure they deserve.

  1. whitechapel (usa)

with a newly released album ""hyms in dissonance" in March this year, there is a buzz of hope amongst Australian fans of whitechapel for a tour down under in the very near future.

  1. lorna shore (usa)

following their sold out tour of Australia this year, deathcore band lorna shore would be an excellent addition to any festival roster, and I personally am eager and impatient to see them again.

  1. Linkin park (usa)

Linkin park have always been a bucket list and formative band for me, and now that they have begun releasing new music and touring again, this would be the perfect opportunity to get them to australia and hit all those fans who never thought they would get the chance.

  1. magnolia park (usa)

five piece Floridian band, magnolia park will have you vibing through the genre swaps in the best possible way; incorporating elements of punk, rock, pop, hip-hop and metalcore to create a sound your ears will be thanking you for.

  1. left to suffer (usa)

following the release of their fourth album "leap of death", deathcore band, left to suffer have recently released a new single "set the world on fire". with an impressive roster of an album release a year since 2020, they would be a worthy addition to any festival.

  1. panic! at the disco (usa)

reforming for when we were young festival, my little emo kid heart is hoping this is the beginning of a trend. Panic! at the disco have reformed for their 20 year anniversary and I am certain they would be a welcome addition to the festival environment.

  1. bring me the horizon (england)

hardly needing an introduction or an explanation why they would be on a wish list; bring me the horizon is always a good time and any excuse is a good excuse to see them.

  1. deadlands (usa)

Deadlands are a New York based post-hardcore band that have performed at "louder than life", "Aftershock" and "Blue ridge" festivals. Kasey has an impressive vocal range that is layered over breakdowns, an electronic soundscape and melodic guitars that would be a great addition to the lineup.

  1. bad omens (usa)

bad omens are one of the most popular metalcore bands at the moment, with diverse vocals, hard hitting drums, sexy hooks and crowd sing ability. bad omens have had two successful Australian tours to date, and we all know fans would not complain seeing them back for a third time.

  1. alien weaponry (aotearoa - New Zealand)

alien weaponry have just released their third album "Te ra." the modern groove metal band sing in a combination of their language, Te reo maori and English over chunky guitars and blast beat drums. I have been a fan for a few years now and will find any excuse to see them perform "kai tangata" in a live setting.

  1. stray from the path (usa/uk)

blending hardcore aggression with socio-political lyricism, stray from the path have you non-stop moving, rarely giving the listener time to catch their breath. they are another bucket list band for me and seeing the circle pits they would inevitably create is a dream.

  1. sleep token (england)

Due for their 4th studio album release on the 9th of may, sleep token are creating a lot of movement in the heavy music scene right now with their diverse sound. a sleep token ritual is always a good idea, and it would be great to see them in Australia again.

  1. catch your breath (usa)

catch your breath is a hard rock band based in Texas, who add synth soundscaping and emotional lyricism to create their sound. they are a fairly recent find for me, but to say the obsession is real, is an understatement.

What would your ideal festival look like? who is a bucket list band for you?
